The Sky defeated the Indiana Fever, 88-87, at Wintrust Arena on Sunday.
The Sky were led by rookie duo Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, who each recorded career highs in points scored, with Reese recording a team-high 25 points while Cardoso recorded 16. Reese and Cardoso both recorded double-doubles, with Reese recording 16 rebounds one game after recording 18, while Cardoso pulled down 10.
Chennedy Carter was two points shy of her season high, scoring 23 points to round out Chicago’s double-digit scorers. Chicago also received massive contributions from Diamond DeShields off the bench, who scored eight points, two steals, a block and an assist. Lindsay Allen recorded a season-high seven assists.
