We leave Longreach and pass through Barcardine on our way to Jericho and on to Emerald where we spent some time visiting Maraboon Lake (Fairbairn Dam) and Springsure, where we visited the Old Rainworth Stone Store (Fort) and Minerva Hills National Park.
Then we headed north to Clermont (and looked at Copperfield) and then on through more mining country to Nebo and on to the coast to stop at St. Helens and visit Finch Hatton Gorge and Eungella.
Then it was a longer stop at Bowen. We explored the old Catalina base and the jetty and did a couple of walks to visit Queens Bay, Horseshoe Bay, the Rotary Lookout and the old radar base site.
