Dhanraj Gurung and his wife have been accused of defrauding about 15 million rupees from Lalitpur-based Miteri Cooperative Society. It has come to light that Dhanraj Gurung fake divorce with his wife Jyoti Gurung to avoid co-operative fraud. Dhanraj Gurung, who was at the forefront of setting up a parliamentary inquiry committee to investigate former Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane for committing co-operative fraud, is now being investigated in the co-operative fraud case.
