Hey folks, Shayne here. Just wanted to share a bit of a yarn about a recent hiccup I've had in the world of NFTs. Ended up having my digital treasures nicked by a wallet drainer. Bit of a stink situation, but it wasn't from sharing any secret codes or anything. Turns out, I got a bit too comfy and slipped up with some smart contract permissions while I was busy making some educational vids for you lot.

I was all in, creating this tutorial, and I totally forgot to use WalletGuard on a new browser. Plus, I didn't have my NFTs stashed in my Tangem wallet, which is usually my fortress. Just had them on a standard browser extension, which in hindsight, wasn't the brightest idea.

And here's the kicker – found out I had given the thumbs up to three approvals. Two were old news, from a year back, but the dodgy one seemed to have sneaked in around the time I connected to an NFT marketplace for the vid. Talk about timing, eh?

So, yeah, just a heads-up to keep your guard up, even when you're knee-deep in helping others. It's a bit of a lesson learned the hard way for me, but if it helps even one of you avoid the same mishap, then sharing this tale's worth it.
