This is the all new Toyota Camry. For over 20 years, the Toyota Camry has been the best selling mid-size sedan in North America. Now it’s back, with even more innovations from the previous generation.

There are 4 trims. Two of them are the luxury trims, the LE and XLE. The other half of the trims are the sportier trims, the SE and the XSE. All of those come with a 4 cylinder hybrid with two electric motors making a combined 225 hp. Those specifications are on the FWD models. The AWD models will add a third motor, increasing the power up to 232 hp.

Inside the Camry's spacious interior, there's plenty of room for adults to get comfortable in the front and back seats. The dashboard design is highlighted by a large trim piece that stretches from the passenger's side to the infotainment display. Cloth upholstery is standard, as is dual-zone automatic climate control, and rear air vents. XLE and XSE models add leather upholstery, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, acoustic-laminated glass, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and adjustable rear-seat headrests.

While the LE and SE trims get an 8.0-inch infotainment display, the XLE and XSE models come with a larger 12.3-inch unit. Either way, both screens run Toyota's latest software interface, which we've found intuitive and quick. All models come with a digitized gauge display too, but only those top two trims get the larger 12.3-inch fully digital version. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across the board and work wirelessly on all trims. A nine-speaker JBL stereo system is an optional upgrade, but likely only on Camrys with the larger 12.3-inch infotainment system.

The pricing of the Camry LE will start at around $30,000 CAD ($22,650 USD), $2,000 CAD ($1,500 USD) less than the SE, starting at $32,000 CAD ($24,160 USD). The XLE will start at $35,000 CAD ($26,400 USD) and the XSE will start at $37,000 CAD ($27,000 USD). Those price figures are estimated. Toyota says that the new Camry will arrive in Spring 2024.
