A silent heart attack has few if any symptoms. For a regular heart attack symptoms would include chest pains on the left side as well as pain in the left arm or both. How to treat a silent heart attack is important as many people would just leave it and not go to the doctor. The silent heart attack can lead to heart attack and death. How long can a silent heart attack last? This can be short to long with severe symptoms or come and go. Heart attack symptoms can lead to death. It is best to find out first who is at rick for a silent heart attack. If you are in the risk category you should have your cholesterol and blood pressure checked. From there you can see if you need to do some drastic life style changes or just a little. Doctors may prescribe blood thinners if you have high cholesterol problems and its best to change your diet to help lower your cholesterol naturally. If you have diabetes you should be extremally carefully and get checked right away. Heart attack is the leading cause of death and 1 in 5 people have a silent heart attack. Take care of your health.
