WDR Big Band feat. Bill Laurance, performing his compositon "Swift", arranged by Florian Ross. Chief conductor Bob Mintzer is leading the WDR Big Band. Soli by Mattis Cederberg on trombone and Karolina Strassmayer on Altosaxofon. Another musical guest on the percussions is Bodek Janke. A live CD has been created from this exciting concert evening. Recorded on November 24, 2018 at the Kölner Philharmonie.

A wide audience should be familiar with Bill Laurance founding member and longtime keyboardist of the internationally successful band "Snarky Puppy". He has an enormous musical range: his pieces are sometimes chamber music, sometimes broadband and sometimes poetic. Bill Laurance has significantly expanded the boundaries of contemporary instrumental music as a pianist, keyboardist and as a composer.
