Today is the greatest day we've ever known, as our friend Jack Tamburri presents "Siamese Dream" by perhaps the most alternative rock band of all time: Smashing Pumpkins! 

The Pumpkins' legendary sophomore effort codified a sound that is endlessly pretty while being simultaneously heavy enough to feel in your toenails. Michael and I had been hoping someone would bring this old chestnut before the tribunal and, boy, we couldn't have asked for a better ambassador than Jack. He weaves a stunning tapestry of a case for the record built soundly on its enduring beauty, cohesion, and vulnerability. He shared with us some of the most striking images we've had on this pod to date as he deftly related his deep personal relationship with this album and how it lives in him to this day.
