Today I’ll be demonstrating the Singer Buttonholer! This is one of many buttonholer models made by Singer. This is a vintage sewing machine attachment - the manual has a copyright date of 1948. Use this attachment in place of your regular presser foot to make professional looking buttonholes in very little time. It's quick to setup and with the 5 templates, you can make a variety of sizes in either straight or keyhole buttonhole style.

This video will show you how to switch the buttonhole templates, how to attach the cover plate to cover the feed dogs, how to attach it to your machine, how to change the width of the bight, and finally how to make those glorious buttonholes! I also show a quick tip at the end for how to use a seam ripper to open up the holes easily.

The instruction manual is available for purchase from Amazon (affiliate link): https://amzn.to/2VAnLkm
