A couple of months ago I bought custom orthotics for my shoes. As you guys know, I am a Track & Field athlete and I am trying to go pro in the sport. Unfortunately, I have a tendency to sprain my ankles which can affect my training. I have a tendency to land on the outside borders of my foot (supination) when I'm running, I putting that much force on the wrong part of my foot is what causes my sprains. So I decided to buy custom orthotics which make me walk on the correct part of my foot, thus reducing my likelihood of sprains, thus resulting in no breaks in my training. Despite running Track for 18 years (so far) and not being pro yet, I genuinely think I have what it takes. It's the small things we do to improve ourselves that add up over time to something big. So buying (and cutting) my custom orthotics is one small thing that will make a big difference in the future.
