Woodinville Whiskey Co has developed a great reputation for producing some of the United State's best craft bourbon and rye whiskey. Recently they have completed a research project that included various barrel options that changed toasting levels, char levels, stave width, and kiln vs air dried staves. The winning barrel from that project produced this limited edition bourbon that is aged for 8.5 years. At $130 it is a pretty expensive bottle considering it is an 8 year age stated bourbon. Is it worth the price tag?
