In today's world english is unavoidable. So english reading is must. But if you push children for correct pronunciation it is too difficult for cope with. And one more question you are not showing that much attention to tamil pronunciation right. Yes it is true. We have to tell you one thing you are not pronouncing our mother tongue not correctly and we are not shame for this. Then why are you shame for mispronouncing someone's language who kill our grandfathers.
