Give your feathered friends a treat this Shrove Tuesday with these homemade 'pancake' stack feeders! Rebecca gives us a step by step guide for this simple and fun activity.

You will need:

* Bird Food Seed Mix. You can also add grated cheese, peanuts and insects for birds which are all available in your local supermarkets and some local shops
* 2 Lard blocks (or more if you want to make a ‘super stack’)
* Bowl
* String
* Something to make a hole (handle of spoon or pen/pencil is fine)
* Optional – shallow lid to make pancake shape. Large yogurt pot lids work well
