Join us for an unforgettable experience as we take part in the traditional grape harvest ('vindima') in the North of Portugal! In this video, we show you the full process of how vinho verde (green wine) is made, from harvesting the grapes to the start of wine production. 🍇🍷

This year was extra special as we brought our puppies along to the harvest since they are too young to be left alone. 🐶

We helped our neighbors at Adega Encostas do Mouro, a local vineyard that produces the famous vinho verde. In the North of Portugal, September marks the start of grape harvesting, a short but intense two-week period where everyone comes together to pick the grapes. It’s a big community event filled with hard work, teamwork, and celebration.

For us, it was our first time helping with the grape harvest, and we loved every moment of it. Watch as we get ready for the day, work in the vineyard, and then head to the adega (winery) to see how vinho verde is made. From family and friends in the fields to the intricate process of turning grapes into wine, this experience is one we won’t forget.
