Travel, nature and our surroundings. MINI MUSEUM SISA HARTAKU (THE HOUSE OF MEMORY) Sleman Yogyakarta
The ferocity of the eruption of Mount Merapi left visible traces for all Indonesian people, especially Yogyakarta. The impact of the powerful eruption is recorded in the memory of all residents at the foot of Mount Merapi. On Tuesday 26 October 2010 Merapi erupted, wedhus gembel and red hot lava consumed the green forest at the foot of the mountain. Wedhus gembel passes the houses of native villagers of Kepuharjo and its surroundings.

Not only did the house burn down, but there were hundreds of people from all ages who died. This eruption left a very deep sadness for the residents at the foot of Mount Merapi, all of Indonesia also felt sadness over the natural disaster that hit Yogyakarta, especially Sleman.

The memory of the natural disaster or the eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010 will always be recorded in people's life stories. One of them was Mr. Sriyanto, whose remains of his house later became a museum and was named the Mini Museum Sisa Hartaku or The House of Memory. This museum, which is known to many people, is located in Kepuharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman Regency, DIY.

Sriyanto collected the remains of damaged property and placed them on the walls of the house. This aims to serve as a reminder from generation to generation of the enormity of the eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010. Property such as TVs, radios that have melted, bicycle frames, motorbike frames, buckets, wall clocks, gamelans, and other items including livestock frames. residents are also displayed in this museum. Photos from the time of the eruption are pasted on the walls of the museum. While looking at the photos and the rest of my belongings, we seemed to be taken to the tense and terrifying atmosphere of the eruption of Mount Merapi at that time which hit and consumed many buildings, causing many casualties. The general public who want to see and be transported into the atmosphere of the eruption can visit the My Remaining Treasures Mini Museum directly with a ticket rate of IDR 5,000 per person with opening hours 08.00-16.00 WIB every day.

My Remaining Treasure Mini Museum is a revival, struggle, and the beginning of a new life for the villagers affected by the eruption. The memory of this sad incident will never be forgotten by the whole community, but it is a reminder that the wealth and objects in the world are only entrusted to us. Property can be lost and run out at any time. Valuable lessons can be learned from the mini museum of my remaining treasures for managers, native residents at the foot of the mountain, and visiting tourists.
