Today we visit the former Cerro Imán mine in Atacama. An iron ore mine, now abandoned. It had its history between 1958 and 1981, today it is completely abandoned. It is located only 15 kilometres northwest of Copiapó and is a tourist destination according to the lagoon that is (still) at the bottom of the mine.
