Make your own PC speakers for your desktop! If you have some cheap fullrange speakers like I do, you can make a pair of open baffle desktop speakers. ➤Please subscribe to my channel!! https://goo.gl/p1xmZJ

All that's required for this build are 2" speakers, some wood for the "Baffles" (speaker boxes), mounting screws and glue.
Note: The Speakers are laying flat in the first test, that's simply how speakers sit with no boards, baffles or boxes. I've seen many diy speaker setups where raw speakers are simply laying on someones desktop. These desktop baffles are an attractive alternative to that!
Cut a speaker hole in the 3/32" basswood and glue on a piece of angled wood for it to stand upright.
Stain and oil the baffles, if you like! In the video I use Coffee Stain and tung oil!
The recordings of the speakers "before and after" were all done with exactly the same playback and record settings. Nothing was changed.
Open baffle speakers will often require a nearby wall for the best bass response.
Yes, these tiny speakers do roll off quickly below 80hz, but they are surprisingly competent in this arrangement!
