In this video, I explain and practice how to carry out the Mann-Whitney U test with SPSS or a two-group difference test using SPSS Version 26 (IBM SPSS 26). Apart from practicing the Mann-Whitney test method with SPSS, there is also the interpretation of the SPSS output from the Mann-Whitney test or how to read the Mann-Whitney test as well as the basic concepts of the SPSS difference test, especially the Mann-Whitney test.
The Mann-Whitney test is a two-group difference test and is included in non-metric statistics and is an alternative to the Independent T-test. The data scale used in the Mann-Whitney difference test with SPSS is ordinal data, it is possible to use interval or ratio data provided that the assumption of data normality is not met.
