In this video I show how to take an ordinary cheese omelette and ramp it a bit. This chili cheese omelette is really easy to make so delicious!
Shopping List: Servings: 1 3-egg omelette
3 eggs
1 tsp. water
1 tbs. butter
1/4 cup shredded block sharp cheddar cheese per omelette. (1 for filling and 1 for topping)
2 1/4 cups chili per omelette. (1 for filling and 1 for topping)
Sour cream and chives for topping (optional)
Directions:
Beat the eggs and water.
Heat the chili in a sauce pan.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the beaten eggs to the skillet. When the eggs are almost done add 1/2 the cheese and 1/2 of the warmed chili to one side of the eggs and flip the other side over the cheese/chili. Turn off the heat and allow to cook 1-2 minutes more.
Plate up and top with the other half of the cheese and warmed chili.
Garnish with a dollop of sour cream and chives.
Serve immediately.
