We watched Dr Suess’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas for the first time as adults and learned it was insufferable.

This film was a mess. No matter how good a director Ron Howard is or how great an actor Jim Carrey is. When we chose to watch Dr Suess’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas for our third annual Christmas Classic watch party, we did not expect to be so underwhelmed. Even though every millennial in the world seems to love it, we don’t know why. To us, it's the worst holiday movie ever made. Dr Suess would be embarrassed. It’s trying to say something nice about the meaning of Christmas and commercialism, but it falls extremely flat.
