There is a place called Kenan City by the Yellow River in Shanxi. It was the center of Shanxi in the 1940s. Yan Xishan lived and worked here for 6 years. He lived in a cave on the Loess Plateau and dug 64 secret passages underground, leading directly to the Yellow River.
