In Flensburg people say "Moin" instead of "Good morning“, „Good evening“ and „Good afternoon". It is the northernmost city in Germany. Come with us to the harbor with beautiful old sailing ships, then on through Rote Strasse. There we enjoy a fish sandwich at our snack tip: „Die Fischmanufaktur“. We continue across the market to Norderstraße. Here you will find St. Mary's Church, where the famous painter Rembrandt is depicted on an epitaph. Opposite, we pick up some baked goods from our baker's tip: "Migge's Danish Bakery". We walk past the Freemasons-house and up the hill, where we are greeted by the monumental Lion Monument, which commemorates the Battle of Idstedt. There is also the impressive sculpture "Saved" by Adolf Brütt. From St. Jürgen's Church, the path leads down to the Captain's Quarter on St. Jürgen's Street. The bronze sculpture "The Wave" by Uwe Appold ripples there. The St. John's Church is a gem with its beautiful colorful murals dating back to 1450. Finally, our accommodation tip: the „City Villa with Harbor Panorama“ in Brixstraße. Here is the link:
