September marks National Suicide Prevention Month. This month remembers lives lost to suicide, and the millions of people who struggle with suicidal ideation and acknowledges individuals, families, and communities that suicide has impacted. The NJ TRANSIT Military to Mobility CERG, in recognition of National Suicide Prevention Month, has commissioned two wrapped buses designed by NJ TRANSIT, promoting awareness of suicide prevention, with a particular focus on military veterans. An estimated 22 veterans commit suicide every day, and NJ TRANSIT’s Military to Mobility CERG wants to show its support for colleagues and fellow veterans who may struggle to cope with their military experiences.
