The city of Split is best known for the ruins of the Diocletian Palace. Along with the historic royal residences, its forts and their churches. The palace was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.

Along the Krka River. You will find that more than 70% of its route is protected in the Krka National Park. You can easily spend a day walking along the trails of the national park, admiring the beautiful views and immersing yourself in nature.
