This session will cover the key negotiation areas on climate finance. We will cover the main parts of the negotiations on adaptation finance, including an overview of the Newly Quantified Collective Goal.

We will also examine alignment on the article 2.1c of the Paris Agreement, which refers to the necessity to make global finance flows consistent with a pathway leading to low greenhouse gas emissions (as defined in article 2.1a) and increased ability to adapt to climate change (as defined in article 2.1b).
