My local community offered a free kaisendon cooking demonstration and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity!
Kaisendon is a traditional donburi dish which consists of a bowl of rice topped with raw seafood (sashimi).
kaisen (fresh seafood) + don (rice bowl) = Kaisendon
We had a live demonstration from a famous chef and lots of fresh seafood!
It was a great experience! I hope you all can enjoy.
