In his ministry, Jesus was always bringing comfort to those in trouble. Whether he was bringing healing, speaking an encouraging word or raising the dead to life, he was there to be a trusted, live-giving presence. In John 14:1-31, Jesus begins to comfort the disciples as they learn that their time with him is running out.
