Tropical Storm Beryl is organizing as it approaches the Texas coast. It is expected to undergo a rapid strengthening process over the next 18 hours. It is projected to arrive as a Category 1 or 2 hurricane.

Tropical storm winds will be felt in parts of Houston and eastern Texas. Heavy rains with flooding will affect eastern Texas and Arkansas.
