I had a problem with the harsh light while filming outdoors. The sun made very bright surfaces and dark shadows. To avoid that all the details are lost in that deep shadows I build a easy DIY reflector. As I do all the filming alone I had to build it big and sturdy and easy to set up.
You will be suprised how easy and cheap such a refector can be :)
