बंगाल खाडी मानसून शाखा

बंगाल की खाडी से नमी ग्रहण कर मानसून की यह शाखा पूर्वी घाट पर्वत से टकराकर वर्षा करती है यह मानसून तथा इससे बनने वाले चक्रवात, विभिन्न नदी घाटियो से दामोदर , महानदी , गोदावरी , कृष्णा तथा कावेरी से होकर भारत मे वर्षा करके भारत के वृहद जल विभाजक की ऊची चोटियों तक पहुच जाते है
मुख्य शाखा बांग्ला देश के ऊपर से होती हुयी असम घाटी तक पहुच जाती है जहा से वह हिमालय द्वारा नियत्रित होकर भारत के उतरी मैदान मै वर्षा करती हुयी पूरब से पश्चिम बढती है

BAY OF BENGAL BRANCH

Attaining moisture from Bay of Bangal this branch either collides with east ghat mountains and causes rain or enters in different valleys like Damodar, Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna and Kaveri in cyclonic form and reaches upto the highest peaks of great water divide of india.
The main branch of Bay of Bengal passes through over Bangladesh, enters the Assam valley and being controlled by Himalayas moves west over the Northern plains of India.
