Our new wood shed needs some siding. We have lots of oak ready to mill and decided we'll use that. I've read that as long as you hang the oak vertical as in board and batten style it should last for many years. We'll see how that plays out in time.

We got off to a little rough start but quickly got back on track. Some folks on the Wood-Mizer Official Facebook group advised me that I should turn off the fuel when the mill is not in use. Sounded reasonable to me, so I decided to implement that in practice. You'll see the result. New habits are as hard to form as old habits are as hard to break.

Given the number of siding boards we got off this cant, looks like we'll need about 3 or 4 more cants of equal in size to get what we need.

Enjoy!
