Dr. Eghosa Ekhator is an Associate Professor of International Environmental Law. His main research areas include international environmental law and natural resource governance. He is the chair of the committee on the teaching of International law and the sustainable development goals at the International Law Association (Nigerian Branch), and a senior fellow in environmental law and sustainable development at the Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment, and Sustainable Development (OGEES Institute), Afe Babalola University, Nigeria. Dr. Ekhator is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy. He is also the Co-Lead of the International, Environmental, and Human Rights Law Research Cluster at the University of Derby Law School.

Hlengiwe Dube is an expert in information rights, focusing on freedom of expression, access to information, and data protection, with a specialization in the intersection of technology and human rights. She is completing her doctoral studies on state surveillance and its impact on human rights and public security. At the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, she manages the expression, information, and digital rights unit. She also assists the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) on digital and information rights. Hlengiwe holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratization in Africa.

Ivy Gikonyo is a project officer in the expression, information and digital rights unit of the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria. She holds a master's degree in international law from Oxford Brookes University, a postgraduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law, and a bachelor's degree in law from Kenyatta University. Her research interests include public international law and international human rights law.
