ASAP SDC Kottila celebrated "Jukuren'2k18" as a part of World Youth Skill Day on July 15.
Jukuren is a Japanese word which stands for skill. The day stood unique with variety of skill stalls and student participation. Highlight of the event was the alumni batch of ASAP who eagerly took part in setting up skill stalls like Retail, Assistant Beauty Technician, Emergency Medical Care Technician, Jam Jelly Ketch up etc. ASAP students of ongoing batch involved in World Youth Skill Day by putting food and game stalls. We also had students who are extremely talented in craft making. Those students showcased their craft creations and conducted a workshop for students. Highlight of the skill stall was all of them generated financial income through their timely effort. Jukuren also conducted competitions such as collage making, painting, poster writing, PowerPoint presentation, Bridal Make up based on theme skill and its diversity. Kalliassery MLA Shri. T V Rajesh visited Kottila SDC and extended his support for ASAP and its future events. Principal Shri. Narayanan felicitated Mr. Ashik and Mr. Abhiram who participated in Skill India competition. ASAP students who secured ‘C’ grade in Aptis Exam were also given token of appreciation.
