Bella Ramsey, Jodie Whittaker and the crew behind Time, a BBC TV drama set in a womens' prison, visit the BFI Southbank to talk about the show.
Written by multi-award-winning Jimmy McGovern (Broken, Cracker) and Helen Black (Life and Death in the Warehouse), Time series two is told from the perspective of three very different inmates. Arriving at a women’s prison on the same day, Orla (Whittaker), Abi (Lawrance) and Kelsey (Ramsey) are thrown together to face an unfamiliar world. But even with the ever-present threat of violence within the prison’s walls, they discover that a sense of community and shared understanding might still be possible.
