The Museumseisenbahn Minden has had its new "gem" in service since the beginning of 2023. After many years of refurbishment, the "Kattwowitz" 7348 can be admired under steam again. 8 October was the last scheduled day of operation between Minden and Hille. The railcar normally in service dropped out in advance, so the Kattwowitz had to negotiate the gradient from the DB station to Minden-Oberstadt on its own. Rain and falling leaves leave a film of grease on the tracks, causing the steam locomotive to need several attempts to climb the incline.
