In this video, I show you how to reset the particulate filter after a change or a cleaning of the DPF on your Audi A4 or A5, A6, Q5 2.0 TDI CGL*-engine with VCDS. The reset of the particulate filter is necessary to clear the ash value (oil ash volume, oil ash mass), which accumulates over time in the DPF.

This video applies to the Audi models A4, A5, A6 and Q5 with the 2.0 TDI CGL*-engine, which was produced from 2011 to 2015.

You only need a VCDS cable and a laptop with the VCDS software. The steps are very easy and take only a few minutes. Just follow my instructions and you will see how the ash value of your DPF is set to 0.

The steps are:

Start VCDS
Select 01 engine control unit
Enter login 12233
Select adaptation channel IDE00275 choose initialization of particulate filter Enter value 0 Save
#particulate filter #vcds #dpf
