Video Recorded on May 20, 2024: As I finally began revisiting University Of Texas At Austin after all these years, I did not film too many elevators as they weren’t anything too exciting and that I was also on a time crunch as well, so I mainly just stuck with the freight elevators majority of the whole entire time I was on campus. Sadly to say, Battle Hall is unfortunately still closed due to some structural related issues that I can’t remember while in the process of renovation. The elevator inside the Life Science Library is still original, but don’t want anyone (including the staff) ride it for safety reasons as it seems to not be reliable. And lastly, the UT Tower elevators are modernized as well. Other than those, the rest of the elevators in the whole entire campus are still the exact same. Anyways, this is quite an epic, but rather slow elevator! I absolutely love the motor though. Installed in 1974, modernized in 1998.
