This song comes from the second album by Elton John called Elton John (1970). Elton John praised the song's fine lyrics written by Bernie Taupin that tells the story about the birth of a baby boy seen through the eyes of an older brother. Elton John has also mentioned in concert, that he considers the track one of his favorites.

The song is a rare part of the setlist and is primarily played either solo or with orchestra. This version is inspired by the tour Elton John and Ray Cooper did in the fall of 2009 as well as versions from the Tour De Force with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 1986.
