Hello everyone - today I thought I would try a charcoal drawing of Smeaton's Pier in St Ives, Cornwall UK.

I used a variety of willow charcoal sticks, which I prefer to compressed charcoal. I also used a blending stump, a Tombow eraser, and a blade. I was drawing onto a plywood panel.

Hope you enjoy this one. I used my little shed studio at home in the natural daylight, which fluctuates - making the editing of the video more of a challenge!
