Diabetes and Diet has a vital role. Carbohydrates are most essential part of our diet. Carbohydrates are of two types:
1)Good Carbs or complex carbs which includes Brown rice, Unpolished rice, wheat bread, lentils, pulses etc.
2) Bad Carbs include polished rice, Sugar, Jaggery etc.
Good Carbs food has low glycemic index whereas bad Carbs food increase the sugar level as it has high glycemic index.
