Mary Virginia Merrick, is a native of Washington, DC, founder of the National Christ Child Society and a candidate for canonization in the Catholic Church. Despite becoming paralyzed following a fall while a teenager, she transformed and inspired thousands of people through her deep love for the Christ Child and her Catholic faith.
