I got comments asking to try the handshake test at a level 2 charger. Since we have multiple EVs, a Fiat 500e, a Chevy Bolt and a Tesla Model 3, we timed all three of them at a free Volta charger in town. The results surprised us. The handshake is the time that it takes for charging to initialize.
