God gave me trees so I built a Log Cabin. 3 yrs hard work! Inexpensive debt free MASSIVE Off Grid Log Cabin Build start to finish timelapse. Building with crooked logs is a challenge in every way. Not to mention every single log was Persimmon. They are so dense a 6 inch diameter 8ft long log section can weigh 300lb They make everything difficult, but they cost me nothing and I learned to love them for what they are. It definitely makes my home look unique. They were free because they were going to be bulldozed and burned by the landowner. As long as I cut them and dragged them off by myself I could use them. It's hard to believe that it only took me 9 months of hard work to make it live in ready. Here I've put together a time lapse of 3 years of building, hundreds of hours of footage cut into about a 30 min video. I've done a lot of work to get the cabin to where it is now, and I thought it would be nice to have a video showing everything from start until now. Watching the shorter episodes, gives a completely different understanding of how the building was done. There will be more long form videos on the full build with even more detail coming soon.
