Genevieve Bahrenburg started out as a feature writer and editor for Vogue, she then went to Elle, just before heading to Above magazine.

Genevieve’s had a deep connection to China so after studying Chinese at Columbia and getting inspired by Chinese spirituality.

Life took a change when she she suffered a traumatic experience on New Year's Day of 2014. After waking up from a coma and learning she had the most severe form of Traumatic Brain Injury, Genevieve had to go through a dozen surgeries, but ultimately overcoming her obstacles.

Genevieve is keeping busy - between focusing on her mental and physical progress; writing for Vogue and helping people with TBI, she’s working on a documentary about her life with her parents, friends Chuck Close and David Blaine among others.
