I opted for the Contax T2, for a few reasons. Two main things I was looking for when searching for a film camera was auto focus and something that wasn’t too big. I really wanted to step into film photography with a point and shoot. The Contax T2 was that for me.

Here are some base line tech specs for the Contax T2:

• Film 35mm (135 cartridge)
• DX ISO 25 - 5000 Non-DX (default ISO 100)
• Exposure Compensation +/-2 EV in 1/2 EV steps
• Flash Built-in
• Battery 1 x 3V CR123 or equivalent
• Shutter speed: 1/500–8 seconds
• Aperture: f/2.8–f/16
• Carl Zeiss 38mm lens
