Carrot Milk Pudding Recipe..
Ingredients;
3 carrots- (cut into slices)
boiled thick milk-2cups.
salt 1 pinch
roasted peanuts-1tbsp/ Cashew nuts or any other nuts...
but try to use roasted peanuts.. #carrots with peanut =nice combination.
sugar-1/2cup-(or to taste)
milk powder-1/2cup.
agar agar powder 1.5tsp.( or substitute-china grass).
clarified butter/ghee2tbsp.

1) What is agar agar powder;

Agar Agar Powder Is A Substance Which Makes The Food More Firmer.


"agar agar " is a naturally gelatinous powder derived from marine red algae.
Agar Agar is the perfect vegetarian substitute for beef gelatin in any food application & makes an excellent thickener for soups, jellies , ice-cream & more......


2)Difference between agar agar & gelatin:--
Difference between agar agar & gelatin;
Though agar agar is a great substitute to gelatin, don't expect the same results when replacing gelatin with agar in a recipe .....Gelatin can give a (creamy) texture whereas agar gives a firmer texture.-agar is much more powerful than Gelatin.
such as- (1tsp agar powder is equivalent to 8 teaspoon of gelatin powder)

=This measurement is not applicable for all products.

#What does agar agar contain?
Obtained from different types of algae:

(Agar consists of a mixture of -"two polysaccharides:
agar is a galactose-based heterogeneous polysaccharide derived from red algae.It is a heterogenous polysaccharide composed of "agrose & agropectin"

Agarose-
is a linear polymer, made up of repeating units of agarobiose, a disaccharide
made up of D-galactose.
with agarose making up about-70% of the mixture.

& 30% agaropectin.)


Calorie Content:
Agar is a fairly low-calorie food.The U.S.Depertment of Agriculture (USDA) National Nutrient Database reports that 1 tablespoon , or 7 gms , of dried agar provides about 21 calories.

Protein-Carb & Fat:

Agar is a small amount of protein & carbohydrates, but is fat free.
(A 1 -tbsp portion of dried agar provides just over 5 grams of carbohydrates-including about 0.5 grams of fibre & less than 1 grams of protien, according to the -USDA.)



Vitamins and Minerals :

Dried agar provides a small amount of essential vitamins and minerals-including calcium, iron, zink,potassium, magnesium & folate.While agar isn't an extremely rich source of any of these micronutrients, getting a little bit here & they does help you meet daily nutritional needs.



Nutrition Value:

Agar Agar -contains few calories & is low in saturated fat and cholesterol. It is an excellent source of calcium ,iron,folate & manganese.
There are no sugar in agar , making it an aid to weight loss.
