The Oaths

As part of his coronation, the monarch takes The Oaths as he is made the King.

Here, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby, Lord Archbishop of Canterbury and Primate of All England, asks Charles a series of questions relating his governance of the Church of England, the Realms and Territories, and if he is willing to take The Oaths.

William Byrd c. 1540 – 1623 was an English composer of late Renaissance music. Considered among the greatest composers of the Renaissance, he had a profound influence on composers both from his native England and on the continent. He is often coupled with John Dunstaple and Henry Purcell as England's most important early music composers.
