Space exploration is celebrated across all of Huntsville – we are known as “Rocket City USA” after all – but it's especially celebrated at Alabama's most popular attraction, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

Not only is America's space program on exhibit in Huntsville, it was forged in Huntsville. We're known as the “Rocket City” because Huntsville, Alabama is where rockets were developed that put men on the moon.

NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center is situated on the U.S. Army's Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Visitors are welcomed at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Marshall's official Visitor Center, which offers public bus tours of Marshall.
