At 12:35 watch Jamie get bit by a 16 inch trout! This is part 4 of a 5-Part series on the easiest and fastest way to get down into Linville Gorge. We hiked down the Plunge Basin Trail from the Linville Falls parking lot. In this video we have made it to the falls and Jamie Griffin is showing us how he fishes for trout and bass in the immediate area of the falls. It's about two thirds of the way through the vid before Jamie catches a fish. Beautiful and dramatic surroundings in this cool video. Jamie uses a cool Frabill collapsible fishing net in this video too.
Note: I used one GoPro Hero3+ powered with a Wasabi Extended Battery to shoot nearly 3 hours of 1080p 30 fps video for this series. I also used a Canon HFG10 with a Wasabi Battery for about 90 minutes of video. I used a Zoom H1 for audio.
