G'day everyone,

The lathe is in need of some maintenance this week. After machining the new cross slide last year I ran out of material to make the riser block, so I substituted it with a piece of Aluminium. It has almost been a year since then and it is time to replace the Aluminium one with one made from steel.

I am also going to replace the tool post stud for a solid one made from steel to make the tool position more repeatable and make it a bit more rigid.
